Ice age bones found throughout swimming pool set up

A Las Vegas couple discovered that home builders installing a swimming pool in their home discovered ice age animal bones.

Matt Perkins recently moved to Vegas with his husband and was shocked to find cops on the property earlier this week.

They soon found that the workers had encountered bones that could be up to 14,000 years old.

Perkins said his mind was calmed down a bit since the bones were not human and contacted expert Joshua Bonde to learn more about the remains.

Bonde, director of research at the Nevada Science Center, predicted the bones will likely be from Earth’s most recent Ice Age.

He said, “What we found was when they dug up the pool in the back yard, cut them through layers of glacial sediment, and sure enough they had a skeleton of an animal.”
